Yas Racing Series 2022 Round 2: Know All About the Races in the Event

 

Yas Marina Circuit is one of the most popular racing circuits in the world. Home to the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, YMC is also considered to be the most technologically advanced circuit. The Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix of 2021 took place in December ‘21, but the on-track action of Yas Marina Circuit continues. In January 2022, Yas Marina Circuit is bringing back the Yas Racing Series for its Round 2. The Yas Racing Series 2022, in its Round 2, brings four thrilling races, both local and international. The Yas Marina Circuit has also announced that spectators are permitted to watch these racing championships. The Yas Racing Series 2022, Round 2, is taking place from 20 January 2022 to 23 January 2022. Here are the four racing championships that are coming to the second round of Yas Racing Series 2022:

• F3 Asian Championship :The first championship coming to the Yas Racing Series 2022 is the F3 Asian Championship. This race features both professional and amateur drivers competing together in Formula Regional open-wheel single-seater cars. F3 Asian Championship 2022, taking place in January 2022, is the fifth season of the championship, and will have five rounds. Eight teams are competing in this championship this year. For the second round of the Yas Racing Series 2022, the championship has 5 races lined up. It begins with two qualifying rounds on 21 January, followed by the first race on 22 January, and the last two races on 23 January.

• FIA F4 UAE: The FIA Formula 4 UAE championship was started to give aspiring racing drivers a chance to compete in single-seater racing championships. For aspiring racing drivers, this championship is the next step after karting. The FIA F4 UAE 2022 is the sixth season of this championship, which is being held as a part of round 2 of the Yas Racing Series 2022. For this event, the championship has 6 races lined up. It begins with two qualifying races on 21 January, followed by the first race on the same evening, followed by two races on 22 January, and the fourth race on 23 January. The championship, which started on 20 January, will be concluded on 20 February 2022, at the Yas Marina Circuit.

•  Gulf Radical Cup: The Gulf Radical Cup racing championship was started in 2006, and this is the 16th year of the championship. In the Yas Racing Series 2022, the Gulf Radical Cup has four races, starting from 21 January 2022. The races are the Sprint Qualifier Cup, followed by two Sprint races and finally, the Enduro race.

•  Creventic 6Hr: The Creventic 6-Hour race, powered by Hankook, is also lined up as a part of the second round of the Yas Racing Series 2022. The series begins with free practice on the evening of 21 January. This is followed by the qualifying rounds on the morning of 22 January 2022, and the final 6-hour race on the same afternoon.
