How to Register for Yas Marina Circuit’s TriYas Challenge?

The Yas Marina Circuit, in 2022, has brought back the TriYas challenge for its 12th edition. The Abu Dhabi TriYas challenge is an elaborate day-to-night triathlon event, which contains races for people of all age groups and all fitness levels. The races conducted in this fitness event are triathlons (swimming, cycling, and running), duathlons (cycling and running), sprints, and relays. TriYas is also the only day-to-night triathlon event being conducted in the region. The final round of the TriYas Abu Dhabi 2022 is going to be conducted on 12 March 2022. The races for that day will begin at 8 am in the morning (local time), and the final race of the event will begin at 6:15 pm (local time). The final round of the TriYas challenge 2022, which is made to test the endurance of the participants, is open for registrations.

How to Register for Abu Dhabi TriYas Challenge, 2022?

If you wish to participate in the TriYas Challenge 2022, follow these simple steps:

1. First, head over to the official website of the Yas Marina Circuit.
2. On the website’s homepage, look for the ‘Health & Fitness’ tab. Go to the tab, and in the drop-down menu that opens, click on ‘TriYas Presented by ADNOC’ under the ‘What’s On’ heading.
3. On the page that opens, scroll down and look for the tabs titled ‘Single and Relay Entry’ and ‘Mixed Relay and Group Registration’.
4. As per your desired race, click on a tab.
5. The page will then take you to an online form, where you need to provide details in order to complete your registration. The details you need to provide include the choice of the contest, the name of your club, and personal details like your name, your country of residence, your passport number, your contact details, etc.
6. Once you have filled in the details, you will see the TriYas Participant Pledge. It mentions the rules and guidelines that all the participants need to follow during the event in order to maintain safety and cleanliness. Go through these rules properly, before confirming your details.
7. After you are done reading the pledge, click on the check-box to confirm it, and click ‘Next’.
8. On the next page that opens, the site will display the details you have entered. Here, go through the details and make sure that you have filled in the correct information.
9. After confirming, you can proceed to make payment.

COVID-19 Protocols for TriYas Challenge 2022

As you know, the pandemic is not yet over, and the world is still unsafe. Hence, in order to prevent the further spread of COVID-19, the Yas Marina Circuit has made some protocols to be followed by all the TriYas participants and visitors:

-        All the participants, who are above 16 years of age, must be fully vaccinated or have the appropriate waiver to be eligible for participating.

-        The participants also need to download the AlHosn app and show a ‘green’ status for entering the Yas Marina Circuit.

-        They will also need to show a negative PCR test result. The test should be taken within 96 hours to the day of the event.

-        Participants under 16 years of age, or those who are not fully vaccinated, will also need a negative PCR test result, with the test taken within 96 hours prior to the day of the event.
