When ketchup gets on your clothes, take action at once. The enzymes in the ketchup, not to mention the colouring pigments in it, are notorious stain-causing agents.

·         Once you drop ketchup on yourself, take a clean paper towel and lay it gently on the stain. Now blot the stain gently – do not spread it around by rubbing the paper towel to and fro – so as to remove all vestiges of the ketchup from the cloth.

·         After blotting out the excess, turn the fabric inside out and flush the stain with cold running water for about one minute. This will further remove any embedded ketchup and help to lighten the stain.
