·         Liquid dishwasher contains a strong chemical which helps in cleaning in a better way. It helps more in removing the grease and grimy stains which are left over.
·         Liquid soaps are convenient to use compared to bar soaps.
·         Bar soaps are likely to create a lot of mess all over the machine.
·         Liquid soaps never get mushy unlike the bar soaps.

·         The main disadvantage of dishwasher tablet is they cannot be measured accurately as compared with liquid. They even offer less flexibility.
·         Dishwasher tablets have less validity period. They cannot be stored for a longer period, unlike liquid detergents as they easily get sticky and lumpy.
·         Bar soaps have less water mixing ability.
·         Hard water softening- Few liquids, can soften the hard water and help you in providing effective cleaning of utensils, glasses, and dishes. They can be used with rinse additives for automatic dishwasher cleaning.
·         Easy to measure and clean - Dishwasher liquid as compared to bar soap, gives you enough control to measure the detergent for your specific wash cycle. You may find it a bit easier to pour and wipe it off in case of an accidental spill on the floor or any other part of the dishwasher.
·         Liquid detergents are milder in nature than powder detergents. Being water based, liquids are gentle while cleaning the dishes.
·         Dishwasher tablets come in the form of small bricks; you have to buy them in larger quantity and cannot break also.

Every product has its advantages and disadvantages.  However, many people prefer going for dishwasher liquid as it has more benefits compared to bar soap.
