Grass stain removal made easy

We tell you how you can remove grass stains from your clothes, and enjoy the great outdoors worry free.

There is something really soothing about grass. You love to roll about it in it and run across it with your loved ones. A freshly mown lawn is pleasing to the eyes, inviting you to plonk a deck chair and sit down with a tall glass of juice. Children love grass more than adults to. They love to romp in it, sit around and talk with their friends, or even chew a blade of grass as they mull over something.

All of these activities translate into grass stains on clothes. It is hard to imagine that something as harmless as grass can leave such indelible stains on your clothes. They seem harmless enough at first, but even after repeated washing the stains do not come off. It is then that it dawns on you: you might have to discard that item of clothing.

Grass stains are more prominent on light coloured fabrics. Also, the stains adhere more to fabrics like linen, cotton and jute. They are not so problematic on heavier fabrics like wool, which make it difficult for grass to bond with. However, you have a big problem on your hands if grass combines with clods of mud – mud also leaves stubborn stains on clothing.

But all is not lost if you or a loved one has returned with grass stains on clothes. Just grab Vanish and set about cleaning the stains.

Vanish has a revolutionary stain removing formula that goes to the root of the stain and isolates its molecules. The stain is quite easily lifted and removed within the first treatment. You can make sure the stain is completely gone when you wash the fabric afterward.

·         Apply Vanish stain removing gel directly on the grass stain. Set aside for five minutes. After this, wash the clothing in the washing machine, as you normally do.

·         If the grass stain has already dried or is old, a bit of soaking is required. Take warm water in a bucket and add the Vanish stain removing gel as directed. Now soak the stained garment in it, for at least one hour (soak for six hours if the clothing is white in colour). After this, wash the clothing as you normally do, with your usual detergent in the washing machine.

·         After giving it the Vanish treatment, you will be surprised to see that the grass stain has disappeared completely, leaving the garment looking good as new. Vanish is harsh on stains while being mild on the clothing. So you are left with stain-free clothes that shine like new.

So now you and your loved ones can go ahead and enjoy the outdoors without having to worry about grass stains ruining your clothes.
