Online Shopping: Boon or Bane

We live in the digital age. Everything we do is online whether it is paying bills, buying tickets, ordering food, finding a recipe or even learning a new hobby. You can find just about anything on the internet. It has made our lives that simple!

You can even buy, sell and return goods with just the click of your mouse. Most stores are now online. And so, many of us these days also prefer shopping online and avoid the hassle of heading to a mall to shop. And now since it is the holy month of Ramadan and we are fasting all day, it is better to buy from the comfort of your home, isn't it?

So, is online shopping really a boon or a bane? Let’s find out-

·         Online shopping is a relaxing experience and not a tiring one. You can shop from the comfort of your home or office. Also, an online store is open 24/7. If you want, you can shop even at 5 o’clock in the morning!
·         You don’t have to look for parking and wait in long queues for billing. So, if you are someone who has a super busy life, then online shopping is just the thing for you. You don’t have to waste valuable time and fuel that you would otherwise spend to go to the store.
·         Online shopping is easy. Period. You have to visit the website of the product you want, click on it, make the payment and voila! Your product is delivered at your doorstep!
·         You can even compare goods and prices online. You don’t have to move from store to store and tire yourself out in the process. And in this holy month of Ramadan, the last thing you want to do is tire yourself!
·         When you are buying furniture online, you don’t have to take the toll of bringing it home yourself. When you order furniture online, the store will get not only get it delivered at your doorstep, but it will even fit it in the space you want.  And when you have guests coming over for iftar in the evening, and you are busy preparing meals in the kitchen the biggest relief would be when someone does the furniture setup for you, isn't it?
