About Yas Marina Circuit

The Yas Marina Circuit is designed by Hermann Tilke, an engineer, professional circuit designer, and racing driver. Plans to build the 5.5 km circuit were first announced in 2006, and the circuit was completed in October 2009. Hermann Tilke has also designed various other racing circuits, including the Bahrain International Circuit, home to the F1 Bahrain Grand Prix. F1 Championships at Yas Marina Circuit

The circuit was inaugurated in 2009; this was also the year when it hosted its first F1 Grand Prix. It was in June 2008, during the 62nd season of the F1 world championship, that the world found out about the F1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The FIA (Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile) had released the provisional calender of F1 racing championships of 2009. How to Attend the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Concerts of 2022?

The Formula 1 After-Race Concerts of Yas Marina Circuit are open to all the ticket holders of the F1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix event. However, the type of ticket you hold will decide the concerts you can attend. Here is how:

The Yas Marina Circuit has several different ticket options for attending the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi GP 2022. These tickets differ in terms of the different seating venues of the circuit, from where you can watch the races. They also differ in terms of the number of days of the championship you wish to attend. For instance, if you wish to attend the races on Saturday and Sunday, you can choose a ticket for those days at a venue of your choice (there are 13 to choose from). This ticket will also grant you entry to the F1 Yasalam After-Race Concerts on Saturday and Sunday, which are the days of your tickets. In addition, it will also give you admission to the concert on Thursday evening.

The concert on Thursday (17 November) is open to all ticket holders, regardless of the number of days the ticket covers. So, even if you have a ticket for just one day, say Friday, you can attend the concerts on both Thursday and Friday evenings.

How to Register for Yas Marina Circuit’s TriYas Challenge?

The Yas Marina Circuit, in 2022, has brought back the TriYas challenge for its 12th edition. The Abu Dhabi TriYas challenge is an elaborate day-to-night triathlon event, which contains races for people of all age groups and all fitness levels. The races conducted in this fitness event are triathlons (swimming, cycling, and running), duathlons (cycling and running), sprints, and relays. TriYas is also the only day-to-night triathlon event being conducted in the region. The final round of the TriYas Abu Dhabi 2022 is going to be conducted on 12 March 2022. The races for that day will begin at 8 am in the morning (local time), and the final race of the event will begin at 6:15 pm (local time). The final round of the TriYas challenge 2022, which is made to test the endurance of the participants, is open for registrations.

How to Register for Abu Dhabi TriYas Challenge, 2022?

If you wish to participate in the TriYas Challenge 2022, follow these simple steps:

7. After you are done reading the pledge, click on the check-box to confirm it, and click ‘Next’.

COVID-19 Protocols for TriYas Challenge 2022

As you know, the pandemic is not yet over, and the world is still unsafe. Hence, in order to prevent the further spread of COVID-19, the Yas Marina Circuit has made some protocols to be followed by all the TriYas participants and visitors:

-        All the participants, who are above 16 years of age, must be fully vaccinated or have the appropriate waiver to be eligible for participating.

-        The participants also need to download the AlHosn app and show a ‘green’ status for entering the Yas Marina Circuit.

-        They will also need to show a negative PCR test result. The test should be taken within 96 hours to the day of the event.

-        Participants under 16 years of age, or those who are not fully vaccinated, will also need a negative PCR test result, with the test taken within 96 hours prior to the day of the event.

In January 2022, Yas Marina Circuit is bringing back the Yas Racing Series for its Round 2. The Yas Racing Series 2022, in its Round 2, brings four thrilling races, both local and international. The Yas Marina Circuit has also announced that spectators are permitted to watch these racing championships. The Yas Racing Series 2022, Round 2, is taking place from 20 January 2022 to 23 January 2022. Here are the four racing championships that are coming to the second round of Yas Racing Series 2022:

• F3 Asian Championship :The first championship coming to the Yas Racing Series 2022 is the F3 Asian Championship. The series begins with free practice on the evening of 21 January. This is followed by the qualifying rounds on the morning of 22 January 2022, and the final 6-hour race on the same afternoon.
